Diamond in the Rough is said to be the only new song they wrote for the new album...
The song they play before the show is probably Link Wray- Rumble or Muddy Waters- Mannish Boy

Since they've been playing it off and on this year, "It's Alright' might make an appearance on the next album. That song fits in w/ the talents of the current Social Distortion line up - it reminded me a lot of Ness' solo stuff and since most of the band now is from the solo days....

That would be awesome if both those songs make on the new record. I'm already so excited that the band is already talking about the new record. They have tranformed themselves into the best live rock and roll band period. No question about it!!!

I might catch some heat for this, but oh well...Diamond in the Rough just doesn't do it for me. Its the only Social D song that I can't get into. I've listened to it in concert 4 times, and I have two different copies from shows I haven't been to, and still...I can't get into it. The whole "all you need is a little love" part seems Disney to me. JMHO.
